My Secret

when i told you
my secret
my deep, dark secret
which had been buried
in the sands of time
yet still eating away at me

when i gave that secret a voice
you listened
and when i thought it could never be
taken, away, the shame, the hurt, the guilt
you became my
divine intervention
without you,
i would not be here today
